Behind the Name
What’s behind the name Old Dominion
Oyster? The Old Dominion part represents
the commonwealth of Virginia where this business was incorporated and where many of my ancestors were from, who were skilled artisans themselves.
The Oyster has the appeal as being one of the most luxurious and flavorful delicacies from the sea for many around the world. Every kind has its own unique characteristic and flavor.
Like the oyster, each antique car has its own distinguishing trait and every piece on it – whether it’s the dashboard, garnish molding, hubcap, or grille has its own distinctive beauty. Just as the marine tides helped build an exquisite oyster, the pride and craftsmanship of many long forgotten
souls from yesteryear helped develop these striking cars.
Therefore, the Old Dominion part embodies the strong foundation for craftsmanship and the Oyster part symbolizes the unique high quality product I will turn around for you. That’s what’s behind the name.

Welcome
Welcome to the Old Dominion Oyster Restorations Web site. I started this
business out of a passion for antique automobiles and from a desire to deliver
the highest quality restoration services possible. My two guiding principles in this line of work are: 1.) attention to detail is a must; and 2.) a continual drive for excellence
is a top priority.
My vision for Old Dominion Oyster Restorations is for it to be a leading automotive restoration company built on a legacy of outstanding craftsmanship, technical expertise and customer service.
Rather than being a full-scale restoration company providing all services, Old Dominion Oyster Restorations will follow through with its mission to deliver premium quality restoration for automobiles in the following areas:
-
Woodgraining of dashboards, window garnish moldings and other items;
-
Specialized color detailing and polishing of chrome and stainless steel
parts; and
-
Fulfilling other customized requests.
Good business is built on the foundation of earning your business and trust.
Thank you for exploring this Web site and learning about Old Dominion Oyster Restorations’ services. I look forward to working with you.
